The establishment of CISF (Central Industrial Security Force) originally took place in the year 1969, which came to be recognized as a Central Armed Police Force in the year 1983. There is a recruitment process which is going to be held by the CISF for the selection of the most appropriate candidates. This selection process would be for the various vacancies that have arisen in the force. These vacancies are associated with the position of Head Constable (Ministerial) in the CISF. The total number of vacancies that have been notified by CISF for this position is 464, which would be distributed on the basis of the various locations where the candidates would be posted. The reservation on these vacancies would be applicable depending upon the policies and the regulations of the government. These reservations would be applicable only for the candidates who are from the defined reserved categories.
The age limit that has been defined by CISF for the candidates to be eligible for the available vacancies is 18 years – 25 years as on the date 1/8/2012. The upper limit of age would be relaxed as per the instructions of the government. The relaxations on the age limit would be applicable only for the candidates who belong to the reserved categories.
The educational qualification required for eligibility related to the available vacancies is that the candidates should be 12th pass from any recognized educational institute in the country. The candidates should be careful about being compliant to all the eligibility criteria that are required by the CISF from the candidates’ side.
Mode of Selection
The candidates who would be selected on the basis of their educational qualifications and age criterion will have to appear for the written test and/or interviews that would be conducted by the CISF. The final selection decision for the vacancies would depend upon the performance of the candidates in these rounds.

The candidates will have to visit the official website of the CISF and download the application form and their admit cards from the available links. The candidates will have to fill the form with all the relevant and required details in the prescribed format. The candidates will have to attach two self attested photographs along with the form and all these documents have to be sent to the respective DIG of CISF of their concerned locations. The last date for application is 26th February 2013 (5th March 2013 for North – Eastern Region candidates).
