There is a huge strength of manpower which is working for the nation in the Goa Police department. Goa Police has received various laurels and medals for their bravery. Goa Police  Recruitment 2013 Details ?

Goa Police is conducting the direct Recruitment process for the selection of the candidates on various posts for raising 3rd India Reserve Battalion. The posts which are available are Stenographer, Lower division clerk, Dhobi, Barber, Mess servant and sweeper. There are total of 64 vacancies available for all the posts but the vacancies available for each category is different.

Required Eligibility

The age limit specified by the Goa Police for the recruitment of various posts is that the candidate’s age should not exceed 40 years. There will be the relaxation in the age limit of reserved categories as per the instruction of the Government.

The candidate must have passed the Intermediate exams with a good percentage of marks from the recognized Board. The candidate must possess the knowledge of computer for the posts of Stenographer and LDC and should have a speed of 100 words per minute in shorthand and speed of 35 words per minute in typewriting. For all the other posts the essential requirement is that the candidate should have be literate. The knowledge of Konkani should be must fir all the posts.

Mode of  Selection

The candidates for the various posts have to undergo Practical test .The candidates who qualify both the test are then selected by the process of interview.

The candidates who are willing to apply for these posts can visit the official website of Goa Police Department to download the application form for the various posts. The application form can also be obtained from the Goa Police welfare cell, Administrative Block, GRP Camp, Near Jogger’s Park, Althino, Panaji. The application form should be filled by providing all the relevant information in the prescribed format. The application form then should be sent to the Superintendent of Police, Police Headquarters, near Azad Maidan, Panaji in the working days. The last date of filling this application is 15th February, 2013.
