Indian Army Group X & Y Recruitment 2013 details:

The Army Education Corps of the Indian Army has notified the various vacancies for the position of the Havildar. The position notified by the Indian Army is only for the male candidates and is available in Group ‘X’ and Group ‘Y’. The total number of vacancies available for the post is 162 which have been divided into two categories. The categories are belonging to the science stream and arts stream. The number of vacancies available for the science stream is 122 and that for the arts stream is 40.

Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit : The candidate has to fulfill the eligibility criteria before applying for this position. The minimum and maximum age limit specified by the Indian Army for the position of Havildar is 20 and 25 years on the first day of the Recruitment rally. There will be the relaxation in the upper age limit of reserved categories as per the instruction of the Government.

Educational Qualification : The educational qualification required for the post is that the candidate must possess degree of B.A., B.Ed, B.A, B.Ed / B.Sc, B.Ed / BCA/B.Sc (IT), B.Ed/ M.A / M.Sc / MCA from any recognized university for Group ‘X’ and B.A /B.Sc/BCA/B Sc(IT) for Group ‘Y’ posts in this category.

Application fees : The application after filling has to be deposited to the headquarter Recruitment zone/IRO Delhi cantt. There is a relaxation in the application fee of the candidates of the reserved categories as per the instruction of the Government.

Selection Procedure:

The candidates eligible for the following post will be selected on the basis of the screening test followed by fitness test. The exam will be conducted by the concerned authorities of the Indian Army. The candidates who will qualify the following test will be further selected on the basis of the written examination followed by personal interview. After personal interview; Merit list of the selected candidates will be displayed and will be appointed accordingly. The date of written exam as notified by the Indian Army is 30th June, 2013. Candidates have to appear for written examination from HQ Recruitment zone only.

Application Submission Process:

The candidates who are interested in applying for the various positions can only apply offline by collecting the application form from the office. The candidates are required to fill all the relevant details into the application form along with the attestation of the necessary documents and two photographs in a sealed envelope. The last date of filling this application is 30th April, 2013.
