Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) was established by the Government of Maharashtra under Article 315 of the constitution of India. The main responsibility of the service commission is the smooth and the efficient functioning of the Government of the Maharashtra by providing them suitable candidates by carrying out recruitment drive in the state. They provide the Government best of the persons in masses in a best possible way by examining them under certain conditions fully. The one major aspect of forming this commission is that it gives proper guidance on the various service related matters such as recruitment rules, promotion rules, transfers and disciplinary actions and some other such type of issues. The main role of forming this body by the Government is to serve the nation on a priority basis leaving behind the personal interests.
MPSC Clerk Typist Recruitment 2013 Details:
Maharashtra Public Service Commission is conducting the recruitment process for the post of the Clerks and Typist in the Marathi and English language for the department of Ministry and Mumbai State Government Department. The total number of vacancies available for the various posts will be 1135. The numbers of the vacancies are different for the different post in the different departments.
Before apply read eligibility criteria:
The minimum and the maximum age limit required for the various posts would vary between 18 years to 33 years. There will be the relaxation in the Upper age limit of various reserved categories as per the instruction of the Government.
The minimum qualification the candidate should possess for the clerk and typist is that he/she should have passed SSC or equivalent. The minimum typing speed required for the clerk and typist in Marathi is 30 WPM and for the clerk and typist in English is 40 WPM. The candidates must possess the typing certificate in the following languages from the recognized institute.
The candidates which are found eligible for the following posts will be then selected on the basis of the written examination. The candidates qualifying this test will further undergo the process of the interview conducted by the concerned authorities. The written examination for the various posts will be conducted on 26th May, 2013. The candidates selected further will be appointed directly under the department of Ministry as well as Mumbai State Departments.
Application Submission Process:
The candidates can apply for the various posts through the online mode by visiting the Official website of the Maharashtra Public service commission (MPSC). The applicants can pay the fee either by the SBI Challan or by debit or credit card or by Net Banking. The application fee for the General category is Rs/- 260. There is a relaxation in the application fees of the reserved categories as per the instruction of the Government. The application has to be filled by providing all necessary details in the prescribed format and has to attest all the necessary documents along with it. The last date of filling this application online is 12th March, 2013.
