The State Bank of India is the country’s oldest bank and a premier in terms of balance sheet size, number of branches, market capitalization and profits. How to Apply Online for SBI Probationary Officer

To apply online for SBI Probationary Officer candidates are advised to first visit SBI website www.statebankofindia.com or www.sbi.co.in and open the appropriate Online Application Format, available in the Recruitment link. Now you need to fill the application form and submit the data. One can also save his/her data if they are not able to fill the form in one go. Once you save the data a provisional registration number and password is generated. Candidates must note down this number and password so that they can re-open the saved data using this. After you have finished filling the form, it’s also mandatory for the candidates to provide their recent passport size color photograph in dimensions of 200 x 230 pixels and size should be 20kb–50kb. Along with the photograph candidates must also provide their scanned signature with black ball pen. Dimensions should be 140 x 60 pixels and size of the image should be between 10kb – 20kb.

Procedure for scanning the photograph and signature

Before you start scanning your photograph and signature make sure that the scanner resolution is set to a minimum of 200 dpi. Set the color to true color and file size as prescribed above. Crop the image in the scanner to the edge of the image and then use the upload editor to crop the image to the final size. Keep in mind that the format of the image must be JPG or JPEG.

Payment of Fee

Once you are done with the filling of forms and cross checked it you will now need to make the registration fees. You cannot make any changes in the application form after you have made the payment. While filling the registration form online the payment can be made using debit card/ credit card/ Internet Banking by providing information as asked on the screen. On successful completion of the transaction, e-receipt and application form will be generated. You can take the print out for record. If the transaction is not successfully completed, you must register again and make payment.
