SSC Junior Hindi Translator Recruitment 2013 details:

Staff Selection Commission is conducting the direct recruitment for the post of the Junior Hindi Translators in Subordinate offices and Hindi Pradhyapak in Central Hindi Training Institute and other Junior/senior translators under Ministry of Defense. There are total of 1238 vacancies available for the various posts under the department of Staff Selection Commission.  There are different numbers of Vacancies available for the different posts.

Eligibility Criteria:

Age Limit : The age limit specified by the Staff Selection Commission for the various posts should not exceed 30 years. There will be the relaxation in the age limit of reserved categories as per the instruction of the Government.

Educational Qualification : The candidates applying for the various posts must possess Graduation degree in any discipline from the recognized University/ Board/ College in Hindi/English with Hindi/English as one of the compulsory elective subject at degree level for the post of the Junior Hindi Translator and must possess Master’s degree in Hindi or English as one of the subjects at Degree level, B.Ed and 2 years experience in teaching Hindi at Sr Secondary level for Hindi Pradhyapak posts in central Hindi training Institute. The candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria before applying for these posts of the Staff Selection Commission.

Selection Procedure:

The candidates eligible for the following post will be selected on the basis of the Competitive written examination. The written examination will be conducted by the concerned authorities of the Staff Selection Commission. The candidates who will qualify the written examination will be further selected on the basis personal interview. After personal interview; Merit list of the selected candidates will be displayed and will be appointed accordingly. The written examination is going to be held on 2nd June, 2013.

Application Submission Process:

The candidates who are willing to apply for the different posts can apply both online as well as offline. To apply online, one has to visit the official website of the Staff Selection Commission and has to undergo registration processes. To apply offline one has to pay the fee through central Recruitment Fee Stamps only which are available in different Departmental Post Offices across the country. The application has to be filled by providing all necessary details in the prescribed format along with the attestation of the necessary and relevant documents. There is a relaxation in the application fee of the candidates of the reserved categories as per the instruction of the Government. The last date of filling this application is 19th April, 2013.
