Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission Public Service Commission was established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh under Article 315 of the constitution of India. The main responsibility of the service commission is the smooth and the efficient functioning of the Government of the Uttar Pradesh by providing them suitable candidates by carrying out recruitment drive in the state. They provide the Government best of the persons in masses in a best possible way by examining them under certain conditions fully. The one major aspect of forming this commission is that it gives proper guidance on the various service related matters such as recruitment rules, promotion rules, transfers and disciplinary actions and some other such type of issues. UPSC Recruitment 2013 details ?

Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission is conducting the direct recruitment for the post of the Collector, Tehsildar, Accounts Officer and other posts through combined state/ Upper subordinate service. There are total of 231 vacancies available for the various posts under the department of Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission.  There are different numbers of Vacancies available for the different posts.

Before apply read eligibility criteria:

The minimum and maximum age limits specified by the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission for the various posts are in between 21 and 40 years of age. There will be the relaxation in the age limit of reserved categories as per the instruction of the Government.

The candidates applying for the various posts must possess Graduation degree in any discipline from the recognized University/ Board/ College. The candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria before applying for these posts of the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission.

Selection Procedure:

The candidates eligible for the following post will be selected on the basis of the Competitive written examination. The written examination will be conducted by the concerned authorities of the Uttar Pradesh Public service commission. The candidates who will qualify the written examination will be further selected on the basis personal interview. After personal interview; Merit list of the selected candidates will be displayed and will be appointed accordingly.

Application Submission Process:

The candidates who are willing to apply for the various posts can apply online. To apply online, one has to visit the official website of the Uttar Pradesh Public service commission to fill the application form. The application has to be filled by providing all necessary details in the prescribed format. The applicants applying online can pay the fee either by Challan or by cash into the bank account of Sate Bank of India or Punjab National Bank. There is a relaxation in the application fee of the candidates of the reserved categories as per the instruction of the Government. The application fees for the General and OBC Candidates is Rs/- 115 and the fees for the SC/ST Candidates is Rs/- 55 .The last date of filling this application online is 25th April, 2013.
